Airtags Report

Airtags are similar to any other beacon tags. What makes them so special? Two things. One is the use of a wideband network and two, Apple’s secret sauce technology used to build the network. The Apple AirTag is a circular device. It has a laser-etched polished stainless steel finish, which gives it a more premium appearance than some of its competitors. The circular shape is another differentiator. 

The AirTag has a user-removable battery – which is claimed to last for around a year. This is a standard CR2032 cell, easy to replace.

It has a built-in speaker and is IP67 water and dust resistant, which means it can be submerged in water that’s 1-meter deep for up to 30 minutes.
